Concepting In ZBrush

This week we learned about using ZBrush as a concepting tool. I can see the use for this in creating very organic characters, however it was difficult to get a properly proportioned human body. I experimented with the silhouette with some basic clothing items and hope to add more detail on the next assignment!

  1. I really enjoy the work so far, but your presentation is't professional at all right now. The designs need to be rendered, you should be tweaking the results in Photohshop to get the value levels exactly where you want them. The designs are not labeled.

Make sure you are following the look of your chosen art style.

Here is a trick on how to render the wire frames a bit better. Drop down to the lowest subdivision levels, turn on your polyframe, then step up in your subdivision levels. This will only show the wires for your lowest sub d level, even though you are showing the high res model.
